Trophy Tour: Summer on the road. We summarize the activities so far
We have an unforgettable summer behind us. A large part of it was spent as part of the "Trophy Tour", which involved visits to fan club locations. The STS Polish Cup trophy was available to fans in many cities and towns of our region and beyond during that time.
We certainly kept busy during this period, as we took part in 25 events. These included both city events (e.g. Dni Knurowa), municipal events (numerous harvest festivals), as well as fan-related events such as supporter tournaments (e.g. Torcida Cup, Children's Day in Ruda Śląska), or events organized by them for kids. Throughout this time, thousands of Górnik's fans had their photos taken with the precious trophy.
That is of course not all, as every event was accompanied by the Sklep Kibica tent and Górnik's mascot and announcer hosting the aforementioned events.
Let us add that we visited the following towns and fan clubs: Ruda Śląska, Czernica (near Rydułtowy), Rydułtowy, Ornontowice, Piekary Śląskie, Ziemięcice, Stanowice, Knurów, Paniówki, Tarnowskie Góry, Wieszowa, Woźniki, Jankowice near Pszczyna, Czerwionka Leszczyny, Libiąż, Rybnik, Toszek, Orzesze, Pyskowice, Pawonków, Wilcza
Districts of Zabrze: Helenka, Mikulczyce, Grzybowice, Janek housing estate
Is it over already? Summer is behind us, the time for outdoor events and picnics has come to an end. We are definitely not putting a full stop, however, being aware that there are still a few towns with a large number of supporters of the Polish Cup winner where we have not yet managed to visit. And although the campaign has slowed down, we do not consider it finished yet.
The success of the campaign would not have been possible without support. First and foremost, we must mention the fans of Torcida, who in individual fan clubs were involved in the preparations and organisation of additional attractions. On many events, we were also accompanied by the girls from Torcida Girls. We could always count heavily on the involvement of the organisers, as well as city and municipal authorities. Finally, we thank the thousands of visitors to the Górnik zone. It was a fantastic party season!
